Freescale Q4 net sales up $11million year on year

Freescale has reported net sales of $951million for Q4 2009, compared to $893m in Q3 and $940m in Q4 2008.

The reported loss from operations for the three months ended December 31 2009, inclusive of $148m of reorganisation costs, was $261m, compared to a loss of $261m in the third quarter of 2009 - and a loss of $4.17billion in the fourth quarter of 2008. Q4 product revenues were as follows: Microcontroller net sales were $333m compared to $294m in Q3 and $306m, year on year. RF, analogue and sensor net sales were $221m, compared to $208m in Q3 and $232m, year on year. Networking and multimedia net sales were $251m, compared to $234m in Q3 and $273m, year on year. Cellular net sales were $116m, compared to $122m and $64m, year on year. Other net sales were $30m compared to $35m in Q3 and $65m, year on year. During the fourth quarter, the company recorded $148m of reorganisation costs.
