New non-magnetic SMT tantalum capacitors: Sampling Now

New non-magnetic versions of popular surface-mount MnO2 or polymer tantalum capacitors, from Kemet and Charcroft, feature extremely low magnetic permeability, down to 1.00001µ.

The new capacitors increase resolution and reliability for next generation MRI scanners, with magnetic fields up to 3.0T, or other high-resolution scanning technologies. Request a Sample and Data The non-magnetic versions increase the reliability of high-resolution medical imaging equipment by minimising overheating due to magnetic losses, and are available with 100% tin (Sn) or tin/lead (SnPb) leads. Non-magnetic versions are specified by adding the appropriate lead-material code to the existing KEMET part numbers. Request a Sample Data
