Passive breakthroughs from Kemet & Charcroft

A first-to-market KEMET AEC-Q200 polymer electrolytic to 150°C, an easy press-fit aluminium electrolytic, and Base Metal Electrode ceramic capacitors qualified to MIL-PRF-32535 for high-reliability applications, are sampling now from Charcroft.

These new capacitors are designed to extend durability and reliability in tough environments.

First-to-market AEC-Q200 polymer electrolytic for 150°C (T599)

For high-humidity and high-temperature environments, the T599 polymer electrolytic capacitor delivers ultra-low ESR, stability and endurance under harsh conditions.

• Humidity bias testing, 1,000 hours under 85°C with 85% relative humidity
• Endurance testing at 150°C up to 1,000 hours

Press-fit aluminium electrolytic capacitors (ALF20/ALF40)

Eliminate solder challenges with a press-fit aluminium electrolytic with capacitance from 120 to 120,000µF and voltage up to 500V DC for long-life, high-reliability applications; with optimised designs available upon request

• High ripple current

• Excellent surge voltage capability

Base Metal Electrode (BME) ceramic per MIL-PRF-32535

With M- and T-level reliability available, these multilayer ceramic chip capacitors offer a flexible termination option with stable C0G or higher capacitance provided with X7R dielectric:

  • C0G up to 200V 1pF – 180nF
  • X7R up to 50V 39pF – 10uF
