Superspeed silicon IP for USB

Polish silicon IP provider, Evatronix, arrived in force at Grenoble to present its latest release: the SuperSpeed USB 3.0 device controller.

Boasting the industry's highest throughput value of more than 430Mbytes/s, the controller has successfully passed all available USB-IF verification tests, with certified xHCI host controllers from NEC and Fresco Logic. Designed to meet the latest version 1.0 SuperSpeed peripheral controller applications, Evatronix' IP implements the OCP socket as the primary interface for both microprocessor and memory. Wrappers for popular system bus interfaces, and device models are available as part of the deliverable product. Evatronix' SuperSpeed USB 3.0 device controller and a wide range of 8, 16 and 32bit processors, multimedia and memory IP is available from IP distributor, Cast. Evatronix' newest recruit and first non-Polish employee, Carsten Elgert, VP sales and marketing, and formerly with Mentor Graphics, introduced the company's new corporate identity and announced the appointment of a technical advisory board. Members include Dr. Carl Das, director of Asic Services at IMEC, Dr. Jean Mermet, chief Scientist as Safetronix and formerly director of ECSI (European Chips and Systems design Initiative), Prof. Wolfgang Rosenstiehl, director of the System Design in Microelectronics department at the computer Science Research Centre, Karlsruhe and a professor for Computer Engineering at the University of Tubingen, and Richard Tobias, VP at Samplify Systems.
