The annual Hitex ARM Conference returns for 2015 with a focus on tackling complexity plus safety, security and the latest developments for Cortex-M7.

The agenda for the 2015 Hitex ARM Conference is as full and informative as ever. With a total of 13 speakers (3 of which are keynotes) delegates will be kept engaged for the duration of the day. The line up reads like a "who's who" list for the embedded industry: with new announcements across the board, industry insight and knowledge sharing driving the content of all speaker slots, attendees can be sure that they will be spoilt for choice between the two streams.

The opening keynote for the free-to-attend Hitex ARM Conference will be delivered by Hobson Bullman, General Manager of the Development Solutions Division at ARM. Hobson will be tackling the tricky subject of controlling complexity in the design process.

Keynote number two comes from Hugo Vincent, Head of mbed™ OS Engineering. 2015 sees the release of the new mbed™ OS. mbed™ OS is an operating system for IoT devices and is especially well-suited to run in energy constrained environments. The operating system includes the connectivity, security and device management functionalities required in every IoT device.

The final keynote will close proceedings and will be delivered by Niall Cooling from Feabhas, the leading UK embedded systems training company. He will give a review of the changing face of core skills required for embedded systems programming.

Throughout the remainder of the day, the presentations will be a mix of the latest innovative developments from key Silicon vendors and leading software providers and will also cover the latest hardware developments and practical software techniques. The presentations will be technology-based as opposed to road maps or sales pitches. This is to ensure that every delegate will leave having gained real knowledge and value from the day.

The Hitex ARM Conference was launched in 2000 as a fairly small, focussed one-day event and over the last 4 years has grown into a well-respected and highly anticipated annual fixture on the engineering event calendar.
