30W dc/dc converters target railway applications

Designed specifically for railway applications, the devices accommodate a wide input range based around the input voltages of either 72 or 110VDC. The converters are available with single, dual or triple outputs and conform to the railway industry transient standards EN50155, NF F 01-510 and RIA12. The single output models provide the standard regulated output voltage of 3.3, 5, 12 or 15VDC, and duals provide +/-5, +/-12 or +/-15VDC. Triple output models provide a 3.3VDC output with either +/-12 or +/-15VDC outputs, or a 5VDC output with either +/-12 or +/-15VDC outputs. The convection cooled devices have an efficiency rating of up to 91%, and deliver a power density of 37.5W per cubic inch.
