LeCroy expands WaveAce scope range

1 min read

LeCroy has announced two additions to its WaveAce oscilloscope series: the WaveAce 1000 and WaveAce 2000. WaveAce 1000 oscilloscopes, which sample at up to 1Gsample/s, come with 2Mpt of memory. The two channel devices have a bandwidth ranging from 40MHz to 100MHz. Meanwhile, WaveAce 2000 oscilloscopes deliver have sample rates of up to 2Gsample/s and 24kpt of memory. Available in two and four channel versions, bandwidth ranges from 70MHz to 300MHz.

Devices in the new WaveAce families feature a 7in widescreen display and powerful debug tools, including 32 automatic measurements, waveform math capabilities, pass/fail mask testing, large internal storage, remote control and waveform recorder. Integration with LeCroy's logic analyser and waveform generators is said to provide expanded debug and testing capabilities. The display can show up to five measurements without crowding the waveform display, or show all 32 automatic measurements at the same time using the measurement dashboard. A range of advanced timing parameters provides insight to the relationship between signals on two different channels. The WaveAce range has sufficient internal storage for 20 waveforms, 20 setups and two reference waveforms. According to LeCroy, the WaveAce 1000 and 2000 go beyond the capabilities of a typical oscilloscope; both can be integrated with the LogicStudio 16 logic analyser or with the WaveStation function/arbitrary waveform generator. When connected to the same pc, the LogicStudio 16 and the WaveAce turn the device into a mixed signal oscilloscope.
