Teledyne LeCroy introduces 10bit HDO9000 oscilloscopes

1 min read

The HDO9000 range of oscilloscopes from Teledyne LeCroy feature HD1024 technology, said to automatically determine the best A/D converter configuration under each measurement condition to optimise vertical resolution, extending up to 13.8bits.

The oscilloscopes combine most advanced user interface (MAUI) with OneTouch and a 15.4in touchscreen, which allows users to perform most common operations with a single touch of the display. HD1024 technology, together with a deep analysis toolbox, enables the HDO9000 to uncover difficult-to-find signal abnormalities. The oscilloscopes offer 10bit resolution, bandwidths of 1 to 4GHz and sample rates of 40Gsample/s, enabling efficient and accurate debug. Two units can be synchronised to operate as an eight channel oscilloscope without limitations.

Optional software packages are available to equip the HDO9000 for all validation and debug requirements ranging from automated standards compliance packages to flexible debugging toolkits. A suite of protocol-specific measurement and eye diagram packages complements the trigger and decode software. Application-specific packages enable streamlined debug for common design and validation scenarios.

Options include digital filtering, spectrum analysis, device and switching power supply analysis, and more. Advanced customisation options allow users to define their own parameters and math functions.

The mixed signal (-MS) models have 16 digital lines which can be used for trigger, decode, and measurements for analysing timing irregularities or for general-purpose debug of digital designs. Additionally, the HDO9000 is compatible with the HDA125 digital analyser, with 12.5Gsample/s digital sampling rate on 18 input channels, and the QuickLink probing solution for digital acquisitions.
