Infineon Technologies has announced additional development tools that will support its family of SEMPER NOR Flash devices.

The SEMPER Solutions Hub is a one-stop portal which contains all the building blocks needed to integrate SEMPER NOR Flash into an application, and is intended to help developers to quickly design safety-critical and inherently secure automotive, industrial and communications systems.

SEMPER NOR Flash is the first non-volatile memory architected and designed for functional safety and is suitable for developers of smart and autonomous systems used for connected applications, high reliability and functional safety in the event of failure are critical to successful design.

“With our broad portfolio of solutions, SEMPER NOR Flash memory along with the Solutions Hub allows developers to easily design for autonomous driving, factory automation and other mission-critical applications,” said Sandeep Krishnegowda, Senior Director of Marketing and Applications, Memory Solutions, Infineon Technologies. “With the growing complexity and demand for functional safety and secured systems, customers need industry-compliant and proven components that they can easily integrate into their designs, along with robust tools and resources.”

The web portal offers access to software development kits (SDKs) containing production-grade drivers and application code examples. Additionally, it offers hardware kits for prototyping with microcontroller (MCU) system boards from both Infineon and third-party suppliers, MCUs and available integrated development environments (IDEs).

Supported architectures include the Infineon PSoC 6 and AURIX TC375, Raspberry Pi and NVIDIA Jetson Nano.
