Whether you are working in AURIX or Cortex-based applications, we have unrivalled inhouse expertise which has spanned multiple industries over the years, including automotive, defence and medical to name just a few.

As an Infineon Approved Design House, Hitex is endorsed in the UK for delivering complex AURIX designs quickly and to the highest standard with real-world proven processes and comprehensive safety knowledge. Hitex provides AURIX microcontroller start-up assistance as well as training and consultancy surrounding tools, middleware, functional safety and security. We can also aid with achieving certification.

Hitex has access to deep technical information and the in-house experience to allow drivers such as MCAL to be implemented to a range of safety levels. We provide MCAL drivers for full-fledged AUTOSAR projects as well as industrial projects with special requirements. In both cases the key benefit is saving time and effort and making use of approved and tested technology for safe operation. The drivers were partly developed, and quality tested by Hitex.

With the launch of a new range of functional safety products from Arm, we can also offer a fast track to functional safety with Cortex-based applications. Many products for markets such as household appliances, automotive, industrial and healthcare have regulatory requirements to be certified against functional safety (FuSa) standards. For example, IEC 61508 for electrical systems, ISO 26262 for the automotive industry, IEC62304 for medical systems, and EN 50128 for railway applications.

Within the standards, there are multiple safety integrity levels (SIL) that specify formal methods to be used during development for verifying that the application code, software components and toolchains are safe for the intended use.
