Small, flexible, powerful – New 4.3-10 connector series from Telegärtner

With three connection techniques for one socket, Telegärtner presents a highly flexible and user-friendly products of the 4.3-10 connector series. With 48% less space requirement and a saving on weight of more than 50% compared to standard 7/16 product range, the compact new developments enable much better packing densities with excellent performance features and meet the requirements for miniaturisation of mobile network elements. The special design features offer protection of contact faces from damage even in an unplugged state and very good PIM values, independent of torque or coupling mechanism.

A highlight is the versatile connection technology. 'Screw', 'Handscrew' and 'Push-Pull' are the three variants of the plug. An open-ended wrench-based hexagon head screw, an easy-grip, riffled, round union nut or the push-pull ring all enable a reliable connection. The fixed screw connection makes the two screw variants mechanically more stressable and, due to the simpler design, the lower cost solution despite the high quality materials. Whereas the screw type with recommended torque of 5 Nm can be used especially for extreme ambient conditions outdoors, the hand screw type which can be screwed manually without tools is recommended for indoor applications. The also tool-less, self-locking push-pull type is the fastest connection variant for indoor and outdoor applications.

Regardless of which connector type is chosen, there is just one socket which fits all. This simplifies the combination requirement and makes warehouse logistics easier. A secure and powerful connection is achieved with all three connector versions. This flexibility enables users to always find exactly the right product for their special application according to space requirements, connection preferences or application site.
