The terminal blocks are supplied with open wire entry to provide a fast wire connection. They are suitable for an easy connection of solid or stranded wires with or without end sleeves without the need of a special tool. When the wire entry is closed, the inserted wire establishes a reliable contact with the contacts in the spring clamp terminal block.
The terminal blocks of the ST and SP series are available in centerlines from 2.5 mm up to 10.16 mm with pole sizes between 2 and 24; and accept wire cross sections up to 2.5 mm² (up to AWG 12). The standard housing colours are grey and black, but customer specific designs with different pole and/or lever colours or individual printing of the poles are possible.
