RS adds Tek scope to portfolio

RS Components has added the Tektronix TBS2000 series of digital storage oscilloscopes to its portfolio. According to the distributor, the TBS2000 captures and displays more signal than competitive units by featuring 10 vertical and 15 horizontal divisions.

The scope, designed for easy operation and quick hands-on learning, comes with a 9in WVGA colour display. It also enables enhanced signal analysis with on-waveform cursor readouts and 32 automated measurements, as well as an FFT function for thorough waveform analysis. The device also offers dedicated controls that provide quick access to important settings, enabling better and faster evaluation of designs.

With a 20million point record length on all channels and a sampling rate of up to 1Gsample/s, its TekVPI probe interface supports active, differential and current probes with automatic scaling and units. Working with traditional BNC connections and active voltage and current probes, the TBS2000 series includes: USB2.0 ports on the front and rear panels; a Wi-Fi; and an LXI-compliant 10/100Base-T Ethernet port.

The range is said to be suitable for use by engineers, technicians and scientists in industrial, academic and research and development environments. Applications include circuit debugging and testing in the manufacturing and radio broadcast equipment areas.
