Op amp delivers ‘highest’ precision measurements for industrial applications

Texas Instruments' 36V rail to rail input/output op amp combines low offset and drift with fast settling to improve precision a/d converter performance.

The OPA192 achieves stable offset voltage drift over the full specified temperature range, eliminating the need for system level calibration. Fast settling and high output drive allow designers to use the device to drive a/d converters in high voltage, precision data acquisition systems, including test and measurement, industrial sensors and controls. The device provides 5uV offset voltage and 0.2-uV/C offset drift without the use of internally clocked auto-zero techniques. A 60mA output current drive and 1nF capacitive load drive provide system stability for high voltage buffers and mixed data acquisition.
