Miniature cable and chassis circular connectors from Lane Electronics

Lane Electronics has made available several series of Neutrik cable and chassis connectors for designers of professional audio and lighting systems as well as those involved in many industrial applications.

Neutrik is a leading provider of connector systems for industrial networking systems and professional audio entertainment applications.

The XLR series from Neutrik have been designed to provide easy assemble and use and are available with a wide variety of contact layouts. Some new additions to the XLR series including the EMC series which is a 3-pole female or male cable connector with an integrated capacitive shield to shell connection to avoid RF interference and LF noise. A 360⁰ shield contact on the female connector ensures shielding and chassis contact.

The XLR XX and DLX series both feature a new female cage type contact on the 3 pole versions. According to Neutrik, this increases conductivity with the male connector and gives a more robust latch on the female cable connector which guaranties ground to the chassis.

According to Lane Electronics, Neutrik’s speakON cable connectors are the industry standard connectors for amplifier to speaker connection while powerCON is a suitable replacement for appliance couplers when a rugged solution is needed to guarantee a safe and reliable power connection.

The SpeakON lockable loudspeaker connectors are 2, 4 and 8 pole connectors designed to operate in high current, inductive load environment of loudspeakers

Neutrik’s powerCON is a locking three conductor AC connector with contacts for line, neutral and pre-mating ground contact.
