Hybrid crystal resonators

Murata has added to its XRCGB-M series of hybrid crystal resonators.

The XRCGB26 device adds the nominal 26MHz frequency to the exiting range, has a frequency tolerance of less than ±30ppm and an operating range from -30 to 85°C. It's frequency shift is rated at ±40ppm, with a frequency aging of less than ±5ppm per year. The XRCGB-M, RoHS compliant range also benefits from a small package size of 2.0 x 1.6 x 0.7mm. It is available in frequencies of 24, 25, 26, 27, 27.12, 30, 33.86, 40 and 48MHz, with additional frequencies under development. A quartz crystal element manufactured by Tokyo Denpa alongside Murata's ceramic resonator technology is integrated in the same package. According to the company, this helps to create a device that is smaller and lower cost than a quartz crystal whilst still maintaining high precision.
