DIN rail power supplies are slimmer

The DPC series of DIN rail AC/DC power supplies from XP Power is available in 30, 50 and 70Watt single output models. Each accepts an input ranging from 90 to 264V AC and is said to be up to 44% slimmer than current generation DIN rail power supplies.

Offering nominal outputs ranging from 5 to 48V DC, the output can be adjusted up to +30% of stated nominal, in order to accommodate non-standard voltage requirements or to make up for line losses. All models feature a green LED to indicate output on.

All units measure 90 x 100mm, with the 30W DPC30 being 22.5mm thick, the 50W DPC50 is 30mm thick and the 70W DPC70 is 40.5mm thick.

The power supplies have typical efficiency ratings of 86% (DPC30), 87% (DPC50) and 89% (DPC70). The DPC30 and DPC50 have a no load input power of less than 0.3W, while the DPC70 draws less than 0.5W.

Full output power is available across the input range from 100 to 264V AC and at temperatures of –25 to 50°C without derating the units.

All devices meet EN/IEC 60950-1 safety approvals, as well as EN55032 for class B conducted and radiated emissions. The supplies also comply with UL508.
