Bringing integrated security and precision analogue to the IoT

Maxim Integrated Products has added the MAX32600MBED to its ARM mbed IoT Device Platform programme. With it, mbed engineers and IoT developers can develop embedded systems based on the MAX32600 microcontroller (MCU).

Said to feature 175µA/MHz with full SRAM retention in 1.5µA standby mode, the MAX32600MBED is said to provide a convenient platform for evaluating the capabilities of the MAX32600 MCU. The MAX32600MBED also provides a complete, functional system ideal for developing and debugging applications.

To make it easier and faster to design IoT applications with differentiated silicon, Maxim has developed software libraries and development hardware for its MCUs to be prototyped through mbed. MAX32600MBED features a MAX32600 ARM Corte-M3 based MCU, prototyping area with adjacent access to precision AFE connections, I/O access through Arduino-compatible connectors, additional I/O access through 100 x 100mm headers, USB interface, and other general-purpose I/O devices.
