The THM 15WI series is said to provide a reliable solution for medical equipment and for ITE applications such as transportation, control and measurement or IGBT drivers.
The 15W DC/DC converters provide reinforced insulation with an isolation of 5000VACrms (250VACrms working voltage) and a leakage of less than 2.5µA. All models are certified to IEC/EN/ES 60601-1 3rd Edition for 2xMOPP compliance and are suitable for BF rated applications.
The series consists of 14 models offering either 9 to 36 or 18 to 75Vin and outputs of 5, 12, 15, 24, ±5, ±12 and ±15 V.
Features include: an ambient temperature operating range from -40 to 85°C, derated at more than 65°C); efficiencies of up to 89.5%; a ±10% voltage trim range; EMC compliance to IEC60601-1 4th edition and EN55032 Class A; under-voltage lock-out; overload protection; and short-circuit protection.
All models are manufactured according to ISO 14971, ISO 13485 and IPC-A-610 Level 3 standards and backed by a warranty of five years.
