UK universities exhibit latest technology research

Eleven universities in the North West region are coming together in Manchester on March 9 to showcase their latest research topics.

The free event, which is hosted by the Digital Communications Knowledge Transfer Network and the North West Universities Association, is targeted at technology businesses interested in finding out what ICT research is being carried out in the area. The Digital Pathways 2011 exhibition will feature presentations by a number of bodies that can provide cash to support university/business collaborations, while visitors will be given the opportunity to discuss the various projects. In addition to the exhibition and talks about funding, there will be keynote presentations from Dr Mike Short (O2 Group), Lars Lindstedt (Microsoft) and Adrian Woolard (BBC). Universities exhibiting are: The University of Manchester, University of Liverpool, Infolab21 at Lancaster University, University of Bolton, University of Chester, University of Cumbria, Edge Hill University, Liverpool John Moores University, Manchester Metropolitan University, University of Central Lancashire, The University of Salford Digital Cluster. The event will take place in the Bridgewater Hall, Lower Mosley Street, Manchester.
