Synopsys completes acquisition of SpringSoft
Synopsys has completed its $417million acquisition over ic design software specialist SpringSoft.
"Combining SpringSoft's team and platform with Synopsys' complementary technology will help us lead further innovations in debug to more rapidly address the growing verification challenge," said Chi-Foon Chan, Synopsys' president and co ceo.
It is hoped that the combination of the two companies' technologies will help to accelerate the delivery of a unified, powerful SoC debug environment.
The final gross transaction value of the all cash deal was $417m.
