Railway power supplies feature 100W output
Railway power supply specialist Martek Power has announced the Powertron CPCIR series of dc/dc converters.
Featuring 100W maximum output power, the CPCIR series is designed to meet the requirements of the EN50155 standard for powering on board computer applications.
The triple output CPCIR power supplies operate from 72/110 and 24/36VDC input and provide output voltages of 5.1, 3.3 and 12V. Designed to conform to the standard cPCI profile, the convection cooled units will operate between -40 and 70ºC, or up to 85 ºC for 10 minutes without derating.
Martek says that key features include a hold up time of 10ms from nominal voltage, input and output protection, thermal protection and input/output status indication. With a height of 3U, the CPCIR series is said to feature a conformal coated pcb and includes an EMC screened front panel and lower ejector as standard.
