Power mosfets offer ‘leading’ efficiency for dc/dc applications
A new family of power mosfets has been launched by International Rectifier, which it says offers industry leading power density for discrete, high performance dc/dc switching applications.
The 25V devices are targeted for use in everything from advanced telecom and netcom equipment, to servers, graphic cards and notebook computers.
The family includes the IRFH4201, which offers RDS(on) down to 0.7milliOhms, and the IRFH4210D and IRFH4213D monolithic FETKY devices, which are designed to reduce ringing and further improve system efficiency.
Available in industry standard PQFN packages, the FastIRFET devices work with any controller or driver and are optimised for 5V gate drive applications.
