Pico announces its fastest oscilloscope to date
To coincide with its 20th anniversary, Pico Technology has launched its fastest ever PicoScope. The test equipment manufacturer's new four channel oscilloscope is said to be capable of an analogue bandwidth of 500MHz and a real time sampling rate of 5Gsample/s.
The PicoScope 6404 has a 1Gsample buffer memory that allows capture and analysis of complex waveforms, even when sampling at full speed. It offers a built in function generator, arbitrary waveform generator, mask limit testing, switchable bandwidth limiting on each channel and switchable 1Mohm and 50ohm inputs.
Pico says the instrument offers higher performance and more features than any of its previous devices. It connects to any Windows XP, Vista or Windows 7 computer with a usb 2.0 port and is targeted at analogue and digital circuit designers, test engineers and installers.
