Four-channel USB scopes are ‘highest performing’ devices

Pico Technology has launched the PicoScope 6000 Series, featuring seven models, each with four channels and sampling at 500Gsample/s.

According to the company, the 6000 Series applies hardware acceleration and a USB3.0 interface to sustain the acquisition rate. Engineers can observe large portions of their design's electrical behaviour at one time and in detail, allowing debug cycles to be cut and projects to be completed on schedule. Alan Tong, managing director, said: "The PicoScope 6000 Series is the highest performance USB oscilloscope, with deeper buffer memory as standard than any other oscilloscope and capable of detailed circuit analysis. We have provided a suite of advanced debugging tools as standard with the scopes, so engineers who are developing complex electronic systems will find all the functions they need." With a choice of 250 and 500MHz bandwidths and with memories of up to 2Gsamples, PicoScope 6000 Series models include an integrated function generator or arbitrary waveform generator, advanced triggering, automatic measurements with statistics, an FFT spectrum analysis mode, waveform maths, mask limit testing and serial decoding for popular industry standards.
