IAR signs software license agreement with domestic appliance giant
IAR Systems has entered into a three year enterprise software license agreement with a leading manufacturer of premium domestic appliances and commercial equipment.
German based Miele & Cie has established IAR Systems as its preferred supplier of software development tools. Almost all the company's products will be developed with the support of the Swedish embedded software tools specialist.
Under the agreement, Miele's developers can standardise on the IAR Embedded Workbench toolchain without the need to purchase new software licenses when moving to a new mcu architecture. The deal also includes a customer specific product and service agreement tailored to meet Miele's specific requirements.
