Anglia Components has announced a new distribution agreement with UnitedSiC to offer its full suite of high-performance SiC FETs, JFETs and Schottky diodes to customers in UK and Ireland.

UnitedSiC’s portfolio of SiC products offer breakthrough performance, highlighted by the recent announcement of the industry’s first UJ4C Gen 4 750V SiC FETs.

All UnitedSiC FETs use unique cascode technology that allow for flexible drop-in compatibility with Si MOSFETs, IGBTs as well as other SiC MOSFETs, based on the 5V threshold voltage and wide gate operating range of +/-20V. These high-performance, cost-effective SiC FET devices can switch at higher frequencies and improve efficiency, creating a higher-rated solution or a smaller design with reduced cooling requirements.

Commenting on the announcement, John Bowman, Marketing Director of Anglia, said, “SiC devices are crucial components in power electronics designs, and we are delighted to expand in this domain with the addition of UnitedSiC's products. The Anglia FAE team has received detailed training on these products and is ready to assist customers with their designs.”

Yalcin Bulut, VP of Global Sales and Marketing at UnitedSiC, added, “Anglia’s exceptional technical expertise and excellent service record, together with UnitedSiC’s industry-best SiC FETs will deliver the type of high-performance, high-efficiency solution UK/Ireland power designers are looking for.”

Anglia has made a substantial investment in inventory of UnitedSIC devices, which is available via Anglia Live.
