600V IGBTs target solar, industrial markets
International Rectifier has expanded its portfolio of 600V trench insulated gate bipolar transistors (IGBTs) with the introduction of the IRGP4067DPbF and IRGP4066DPbF devices.
The new modules are targeted at uninterruptible power supplies, solar, industrial motor and welding applications and utilise trench thin wafer technology to offer low conduction and switching losses.
Co packaged with a soft recovery low Qrr diode, the IRGP4067DPbF and IRGP4066DPbF are optimised for fast switching (8 to 30KHz) with 5us short circuit rating. They feature low Vce(on) and positive Vce(on) temperature coefficient for easy paralleling.
IRF says the IGBTs offer higher system efficiency and rugged transient performance for increased reliability. They are available as both die and packaged devices, with or without short circuit rating. Other features include maximum junction temperature of 175°C and low EMI for improved reliability.
