Rohde & Schwarz is offering a free one day seminar on the fundamentals of modern spectrum analysis.

Taking place at Wokefield Park, Reading on the 29th October 2014, the seminar is designed for engineers that are new to the field of spectrum analysis or require a brush up to increase efficiency in day to day work, whilst understanding the features available from a modern spectrum analyser platform. It will cover the basics of spectrum analysis and move into more advanced topics such as phase noise and realtime spectrum analysis. We will look at what a modern spectrum analyser architecture offers. Some key applications are discussed that make use of more modern wideband architectures as well as considerations during measurements. Each section will comprise of presentations followed with practical examples explaining each topic. •An introduction to spectrum analysis •Noise figure •Spectrum analysers advanced •Fundamentals of modern spectrum & signal analysers •Automating modern instruments for speed and repeatability •Wideband applications and measurement considerations Registration for the seminar will start at 09.00 and aim to finish at 16.30. Buffet lunch will be provided. Click here to register.
