Two new 7” and 10.1” WXGA TFT Panels now available from RDS
Ideal for Industrial Applications
Review Display Systems (RDS) is pleased to announce two new WXGA TFT panels from TNE (Tianma NLT Europe). These days more and more industrial applications are requiring high resolution, compact wide screen panels for their systems, to meet this need TNE have introduced the new 7” and 10.1” WXGA (1280x800 pixels) designs.
Both displays have an LED backlight with a typical lifetime of over 30,000 hours. The screens are based on TNE’s SFT (Super Fine Technology) which improves on the IPS standard whilst offering a luminance of 400cd/m2 for the 7” unit and 500cd/m2 for the 10.1” unit. This allows good readability in bright ambient light conditions but also ensures battery driven applications save power. Available soon (Q4) will be a factory fitted PCAP sensor allowing full multi-touch operation and simple system integration. RDS also offers a range of the latest embedded PC solutions which can be configured to drive the two panels over an LVDS interface.
