The 3250 Spectrum Analyzer Family from Aeroflex Sets New Standards in Performance, Features, and Cost

The four models in the 3250 Series range of spectrum analyzers cover 9 kHz to 3 GHz, 8 GHz, 13.2 GHz and 26.5 GHz.

These will be used for radar and satellite, wireless and cellular, UHF, VHF and HF, right down to 9 kHz for EMC measurements. The digital IF provides resolution bandwidth digital filters from 5 MHz down to 1 Hz. With an SSB phase noise at 1 GHz of –115 dBc/Hz at 10 kHz offset, a DANL of -145 dBc/Hz and a TOI of +15 dBm the 3250 Series has the measurement range and performance to analyze demanding analogue and digital signals. And to make the analysis quickly and without errors, the 3250 Series is equipped as standard with automatic measurement modes including adjacent channel power, channel power, occupied bandwidth, inter-modulation, X-dB down, harmonic distortion, CCDF and spectral emissions. Optional 3 GHz or 8 GHz tracking generators add scalar analysis of components, filters, amplifiers and sub-assemblies over the key wireless bands and extends the capabilities into some microwave applications. The 3250 Series analyzers are two instruments in one. Enable the vector analyzer mode and take advantage of 30 MHz digitizer. Signals may be displayed as FFT, polar, in- phase/quadrature (I/Q), power verse time, CCDF or as a spectrogram. Modulation analysis of generic PSK and QAM signals is provided as standard including measurement of EVM. In zero-span mode, pulse-modulated signals can be measured with accurate sub-microsecond rise/fall time measurements using the comprehensive markers facility. Optional wireless analysis personalities are available for WLAN, WiMAX, and uplink analysis for CDMA2000/1xEVDO, UMTS/HSUPA and GSM/EDGE which provide measurements to the defined standard as well as performance limits to allow fast go/no go tests. An EMI pre-compliance measurement option for the 3250 Series is an optimized solution for EMI pre-test and debugging of electronic equipment conforming to international EMI standards. The 3250 Series 7-inch LCD touch-screen display with a fast and comfortable user interface, which quickly becomes familiar. An internal web server as well as USB, RS232C and GPIB control helps flexible integration with your environment.
