High Bright TFT Panel Range

Review Display Systems have recently introduced a new range of "High Bright" TFT Panels designed for applications where the ambient light level is to high for normal panels. The panel range extends form 7 inch wide VGA panels right up to 42inch, including most of the standard Panel formats in-between.

Screen brightness is increased from the normal 300-400 cd/m to between 1000 to 1500 cd/m, typically the Contrast ratio is also increase with most panels exceeding 1000:1 as a typical rating. This allows all the panels to be readable in high ambient light conditions ideal if the application is outside or in some sort of Glass atrium. Operating temperatures for panels under 10.4 inch are extended to -20 to +70 degrees Centigrade or wider, and panels larger than this still support the normal zero to +50 degree range. All panels have an LVDS data interface enabling connection to a number of single board computer products or dedicated analogue controller cards which can also be supplied. For applications demanding even better performance JNM can also off an optical bonding service, here the typical air gap between the front protection glass or touch screen is filled reducing reflected light from around 12% to typically 0.2%.
