Vicor introduces high power, wide input bus converters

Designed to deliver up to 750W and offering pin to pin, drop in functional equivalence to industry standard converters, Vicor says the IBC 048 and IBC 050 products allow designers to achieve significant increases in power density. They are fully compliant with ETSI EN300 132-2 for 48V telecom applications and their higher input to output isolation complies with IEEE 802.3 PoE standards. Both devices utilise the company's Sine Amplitude Converter technology, optimised to provide 10 times faster transient response, reduced harmonic emissions and elimination of external bulk storage capacitors. The products standard quarter brick outline of 58.4 x 36.8mm has a profile of 10.5mm.
