Ultra small bipolar transistors announced by Diodes
Diodes has introduced a new range of small signal bipolar transistors aimed at load and signal switching applications in a range of portable devices.
The NPN and PNP bipolar transistors are available in a DFN1006 package and measure 1 x 0.6mm. Diodes claims they deliver the same electrical performance as equivalent devices in larger packages.
Designed for use in cameras, Bluetooth headsets, tablet pcs and smart phones, the units offer 15 to 50V capability and are able to operate in high switching speed applications for frequencies up to 250MHz. They are optimised to handle up to 1A peak current and deliver an on resistance of less than 300mΩ at 0.5A.
