Starter kit for quick-start IoT applications

A kit designed to simplify entry into the IoT market, Industry 4.0 and digitisation for enterprises has been developed by Conrad.

The C-Control 10 kit is said to comprise an IoT board, an integrated M2M SIM, several sensors, general purpose analog and digital inputs, USB, SPI, UART, I2C and GPIO and a Bluetooth interface.

The device has an optional temperature recording and is designed so sensors and actuators can be connected to the board. Data transmission is AES-encrypted, with server authentication and can accessed via the cloud.

The 39 x 32 x 6mm module is said to have its own operating system and user applications can be designed immediately using readily available tools.

The box is designed to be suitable for mobile use due to its LiPo battery with 520mAh. The 32-bit ARM Cortex-M3 based MCU should also support low-power operation.
