SBC supports Intel Atom processors

BVM's latest single board computer for embedded applications, the LP-170, is 100 x 72mm and conforming to the Pico-ITX form factor is designed to enable powerful embedded computing to be implemented in physically small enclosures. This, says BVM, reduces the size of the embedded computer heart of kiosks, media centres, PoS terminals, information points and similar equipment.

The LP-170 supports the Intel Atom N450, D410 or D510 processors, running at 1.66GHz and addressing either 2GB (N450) or 4GB of sdram, all options run in fanless mode. The integrated Intel extreme GMA3150 graphics processor shares up to 384MB of the system memory, supporting an external 1400 x 1050 display; HD video up to 720pixels is supported. Integrated audio is managed by the ICH8M system chipset with a Realtek ALC888 Codec that supports HD 7.1+2 output. A Gigabit LAN socket, 4 x USB2.0 ports, a SATAII interface for bulk storage, a CompactFlash Type II socket, an 18bit single channel LVDS interface and a PCIE mini card socket are said to enable a range of peripherals to be interfaced to the motherboard. Power is supplied from an external 12VDC PSU.
