Mouser now stocking TI’s SimpleLink evaluation module kit

Global electronics distributor Mouser has announced the immediate availability of Texas Instruments' SimpleLink WiFi CC3000 FRAM evaluation module kit. The company is also stocking a range of TI's motor control solutions, including a dual H bridge driver capable of driving two dc motors or one stepper motor.

The SimpleLink evaluation kit is a full turnkey WiFi evaluation and demonstration tool for TI's MSP430 FRAM microcontrollers and SimpleLink WiFi CC3000 solution, which allows developers to easily add WiFi to low cost embedded products. The platform is said to come with all the necessary hardware and software for users to get started quickly, and includes an LS Research TiWi-SL Module and evaluation module board, along with an MSP430 FRAM Experimenter Board. The DRV8843 is a dual H-bridge driver optmised to drive two dc motors or one stepper motor. The output block of each driver consists of N channel power mosfets configured as H bridges that are able to supply up to 2.5A peak or 1.75A RMS output current. It is available in a thermally enhanced 28pin HTSSOP package and is targeted at applications such as robotics, factory automation and office machines.
