Medical power supplies offer 12.5W/in3 power density
CUI has added a family of 300W power supplies to its VMS ac/dc medical power portfolio which are said to offer a power density of 12.5W/in3 while saving space.
The VMS-300 power supplies are housed in three optional case styles, including a compact U frame measuring 5 x 3.2 x 1.5in and an enclosed version with top or rear fan. They also meet EN60601-1 3rd edition specifications for medical and dental applications, carry UL/cUL and TUV 60601-1 3rd edition safety certifications and provide EN55022 class B EMI compliance.
