Delivering 28W/ in3, (M)WLP225 devices operate from a supply in the range from 85 to 264V AC or from a 390V DC supply. Efficiencies of up to 94% are claimed and the supplies have dual fusing for medical applications. Suitable for use in temperature ranging from -40 to 70°C, the devices are said to have a standby power consumption of less than 0.5Watts, thermal shutdown, short circuit, over voltage and over current protection and a 12V/0.5A fan output. Medical versions carry a BF rating.
