Half bridge power modules from IR
International Rectifier has added two new devices to its patent pending µIPM family of power modules.
The IRSM808-105MH and IRSM807-105MH are optimised for high efficiency appliance and light industrial applications with motor power up to 300W.
Available in an ultra compact 8 x 9 x 0.9mm PQFN package, the half bridge power modules are said to offer up to a 60% smaller footprint compared to existing three phase motor control power ics.
IR says they provide a compact, heatsink-free solution for applications including compressor drives for refrigeration, pumps for heating and water circulation, air-conditioning fans, dishwashers, and automation systems.
