Broadband non-reflective GaAs MMIC switches cover frequency of DC-18GHz

Custom MMIC, a developer of performance driven has added to its family of monolithic microwave integrated circuits (MMIC) with two GaAs switches - the non-reflective CMD235C4 and CMD236C4.

The CMD235C4 is a DC-18 GHz broadband MMIC SP5T switchoffering broadband performance with an insertion loss of 2.5dB and high port-to-port isolation of 40dB at 10GHz.

The CMD236C4 covers DC to 18 GHz and offers a low insertion loss of 2.5dB and high isolation of 42dB at 10GHz. Custom MMIC says it’s “ideally” suited for high performance military and instrumentation applications.

Both switches provide a switching speed of approximately 60ns and an input P1dB of 21dBm.

These switches also feature binary decoder circuitry that reduces the number of logic control lines. The control voltages for both switches are 0/-5V.

Both MMICs are housed in a ROHS compliant 4x4 mm QFN surface mount package.
