19in tft lcd modules target rugged outdoor signage applications
Mitsubishi Electric has introduced what it claims to be the world's first range of 19in Super XGA colour tft lcd modules.
The modules in the AA190EA01 series are said to have a brightness of 1500cd/m2 and a lifetime of 100,000 hours. They are designed for rugged outdoor digital signage applications and have an operating temperature range of between -20 and 70°C.
The modules are equipped with a built in led driver and led backlight to provide a longer lifetime and enhanced efficiency. According to Mitsubishi, the led drivers allow the modules achieve a more compact system design and a better cost effectiveness.
