TTems Rogerstone achieves AS9100 accreditation for the manufacture of flight systems.

UK-owned global EMS provider TTems has announced that its Rogerstone, South Wales site has achieved AS9100 quality standard, accrediting the site to manufacture safety critical flight systems for the aerospace industry. Achieving the standard is a key step in TTems’ commitment to the Society of British Aerospace Companies’ (SBAC) 21st Century Supply Chain (SC21), the aerospace industry supply chain programme, of which the company is a signatory. “As an AS9100 accredited site, we are approved to manufacture some of the world’s most sensitive and demanding electronic systems, opening up new areas of business for us at Rogerstone,” explained TTems’ managing director, Andrew Cox. “The achievement of AS9100 is the strongest possible endorsement of the success of that investment programme and shows that we have succeeded in creating an exceptional manufacturing base that meets the needs of the UK electronics industry in the 21st century.”
