Steven Fisher is NMI’s Young Engineer of the Year

Steven Fisher from Provision Communications has been named Young Engineer of the Year by the National Microelectronics Institute.

Fisher graduated with a first class MEng degree in electrical and electronics engineering from the University in Bristol, winning the Siemens medal for the best combination of academic and practical skills. Post-graduation, he joined Provision as an R&D engineer and has worked on the development of products that stream video wirelessly around the home. Bill Parsons, executive vice president of ARM, pictured left, described the strength of candidates as 'uplifting and inspirational'. "It's simply fantastic to see what the cream of young engineering talent is capable of in the right environment. Steven is a credit to himself, his company and the industry as a whole."
