Nujira files 150th envelope tracking patent
Nujira has announced the filing of its 150th patent relating to Envelope Tracking (ET). The milestone comes just 12 months after reaching the 100 patent landmark in April 2011.
The company's patents cover the technology behind its high bandwidth Coolteq ET modulator ICs as well as wider system elements including architectures, timing alignment, PA performance enhancement, system optimisation and production line calibration techniques.
"Nujira was the first company to successfully commercialise ET products and we have focused exclusively on this technology for the last 10 years," said Tim Haynes, Nujira's ceo. We protect many of our innovations through patents, which are set to become increasingly important as ET rolls out into 4G smartphones."
