Consultancy reveals most in demand engineering roles for 2010

A list of the UK's most in demand engineering jobs of 2010 has been released by specialist technical and engineering recruitment consultancy IntaPeople.

The research, which took into account the most frequently advertised engineering positions for the first six months of the year, showed that electronic, electrical and mechanical design engineers came 4th behind buyers, supply chain consultants and project managers. The full list of top ten engineering roles included: 1. Buyers and cost engineers 2. Supply chain consultants 3. Planning engineers / project managers 4. Electronic, electrical and mechanical design engineers 5. Design draughtsman 6. Stress / structural engineers 7. Quality engineers 8. Manufacturing engineers 9. Software engineers 10.
