Bytec Group and its vertical subsidiaries have formed a new division to provide turnkey services to the embedded marketplace.

According to newly appointed divisional manager, Andy Stevens (pictured), Bytec Embedded will provide 'seamless access' to all of the Bytec Group's circuit board design, product development, electro-mechanical build and industrial design solutions. Stevens said: "Our organisation already encounters a number of enquiries from the embedded market. Using our UK and Far Eastern divisions I have no doubt that our investment in establishing Bytec Embedded will prove to be a successful venture for our group and our customers." All of the resources of the Bytec Group will be available to every customer, without the need for external contract manufacturers or design houses. Using the company's internal communications, offshore resources such as Bytec Systems Taiwan will also be integrated in to the process. Bytec Group's CEO, Bernard Mifsud, said: "The embedded market plays well to our strengths, having brought numerous products to market through our vertical divisions it is a natural progression for us to extend our expertise to the embedded community at large."
