Board to board interconnect systems to headline at PCB Live

1 min read

One of the UK’s leading suppliers of board-to-board interconnect systems will be bringing examples of its latest innovations for visitors to examine and discuss at the forthcoming PCB Live exhibition on March 12th.

Poulton-Le-Fylde based Hitaltech offers both flexible and rigid interconnect systems, as well as other related products including wire-to-board connectors and enclosures rated to IP65. Of especial interest to PCB designers and manufacturers visiting the PCB Live Exhibition will be the company’s range of flat, flexible interconnect cables for use where vibration can be a challenge. These can either be soldered direct to board at each end, or alternatively, they can be supplied with connectors located on either one or both ends.

Available from 2 to 32 poles, Hitaltech flexible interconnect products can be specified with a variety of different insulation materials, and dependent upon the application can also be supplied in materials which can withstand the temperatures associated with reflow soldering. The company supplies cables which are produced to precise customer specifications, allowing total freedom of choice regarding pitch, the number of connections required and insulation length.

The PCB Live event is being held at the acclaimed British Motor Museum, located adjacent to the JLR facility just one minute from the M40 south of Warwick. The museum houses almost 300 vehicles, highlighting some of the best (and, possibly, worst…) waypoints in UK automotive history. It is well worth a visit, and entry to the museum is free to all pre-registered PCB Live visitors. (The standard adult entry fee otherwise is £14.50).
