AURIX multicore for safety and security related applications seminar

1 min read

Infineon is hosting a free-to-attend seminar, on Wednesday May 2, 2018 at the Hilton Hotel in Warwick, with a focus on AURIX architecture.

Thanks to the rapid development in the area of highly automated driving and autonomous vehicles, new technologies are finding their way into the vehicles of today and tomorrow. Old hardware architectures are under scrutiny, with central domain controllers necessary to process the large amount of information and convert it into appropriate actions as quickly and safely as possible.

In the same way, much of the technology is also finding its way into industrial applications where performance and safety are key requirements.

The seminar aims to provide insights and solutions to make multicore systems functionally safe and secure, while retaining the ability to be high performance. It will also report on trends in the industry and provide practical assistance in the development of such systems.

Questions to be covered include:

  • How to efficiently use current multi-core architectures
  • Which architectures for acceleration are being used or investigated
  • How to measure and increase the performance of an application on the hardware
  • How to guarantee the functional safety of the system, in addition to all performance requirements
