Neil Tyler

Neil Tyler - Editor, New Electronics

Neil Tyler has been an editor and journalist for more than 25 years covering a wide range of industries for publishers ranging from the Financial Times and Informa to the Daily Mail Group.

With a degree in politics from Leicester University, he started his career with Reuters working on its tailored 24 hour news service supplying breaking news and stories to the financial services industry.

In 1999, he took the plunge and decided to go freelance. Over the next eight years, he worked with a number of companies covering a variety of different industries including automotive, telecommunications, banking and finance – even working for a local theatre group in Brighton. Before joining New Electronics he edited Components in Electronics for seven years.

A bit of a foodie, he can be found hanging out around the restaurants, bars and clubs of Soho, Shoreditch and Bermondsey High Street. Failing that he’ll be down his local boozer in Surbiton.

Peter Ring

Peter Ring - Publisher, New Electronics

Peter has been in business publishing for over 40 years.

After working for IPC and Morgan Grampian in the early 70s he joined Bob Findlay as a founder of Findlay Publications in 1974, and has worked in the company ever since in a range of sales and marketing management roles in different market sectors.

Peter has been dedicated to the electronics design market as Publisher of New Electronics since 1994, and has overseen the magazine growing to be a major contributor to group profits. New Electronics is recognised across USA, Europe and the UK as the premier electronics design magazine for the UK market.

Happiest when choosing a burgundy wine in a good restaurant, Peter always knows the right venue for lunch!
